Just this past year we made a decision to purchase an online course authoring tool. We selected Adobe Captivate (www.adobe.com) because of it is so user friendly, the quiz creation capability, and it can be integrated into our LMS. Adobe offers free seminars on topics related to online training and, of course, using Captivate. Here is the link to the schedule of these events:

You can download a 30 day trial version of Captivate from the Adobe site as well. I highly recommend giving it a try, it is a great tool.
